MONICA – Road Trip Mix
Recently moved to Ballarat in 2013, the people here have been very welcoming. Feel right at home, well makes sense. Just listen to the description of where I grew up. Surrounded by farming, the city had a couple of industries, theatre, art galleries, museums, universities, and was near a body of water. Sounds a lot like Ballarat doesn’t it?! My tastes in music… very eclectic from traditional to experimental. Let’s just say I like to mix-it up a lot, kind of like what you’d select for a long road trip. “Lyrics with a side of music”, sometimes I even play instrumentals, but for the most part the song writer has had to put meaning into the words. Enjoy a lot of songs that take the words right out of the Bible. Besides presenting, I volunteer in Good News Books and More mostly on the weekends.
