- July 27th – Pathfinders – Alive Church 312 Drummond St South – 7pm The Guest Speaker will be Chris Rantall, who has an amazinng story to share about how he survived a 3 km fall from the sky and survived it. It will be an evening of music and sharing his story. It is a free event and no registrations are required. It is a great opportunity to bring a friend along.
- August 17th – WATOTO CHILDREN’s CHOIR – 1pm – Ballarat Christian College – Kerry Hutton Centre – 111A Yarrowee Street Sebastopol – This is a Combined Ballarat Churches and Community Event hosted by Ballarat Christian College. Watoto Children’s Choir – from UGANDA AFRICA are returning to Ballarat. Come join the Watoto Children’s Choir Better Days Tour for a powerful time of worship as the children bring the sounds of Africa to you and share their personal stories of hope. - Kickstart Outreach Ballarat Australia (KOBA) – koba.danandliz@gmail.com or phone 0427053725 KOBA is a new branch of Boaz College that is providing Gospel Conversations Training for Christians to become confident and proactive in sharing Jesus and making disciples in Jesus name. Training sessions are held at Dan and Liz Ewing’s home. On the second Wednesday of the month there is an hour and a half for training involving watching and then practising what is learnt from the No Place Left videos available through You Tube. On the second Sunday of each month from 10.30 am until 2.30 pm there is a time to get together and pray. Creating a space of reverence to listen to the Holy Spirit, have communion, go out and see whom the Lord leads us to. Contact for 2024 training sessions
- Kickstart Outreach Ballarat Australia (KOBA) – New and Secondhand Bibles can be brought to Good News Radio Books and More for collecting on behalf of Kickstart Outreach Ballarat. These Bibles can be New King James, King James, New International or any standard version. KOBA would like to have on hand a reasonable quantity of Bibles for when they go out and evangelise, to provide to those who are open or have newly given their lives to Christ

- Taize Contemplative Worship – First Sunday of the month – combined services Anglican Cathedral and Ballarat Central Uniting Church – worship based on the tradition developed in Taize, France after WWII when a group of men came together to pray for peace. A Taize service invites you into a time of contemplation using simple chanting, prayers, scripture and silence.

COMMUNITY IN ACTION is a free service provided by Good News Radio to promote your Christian or community event. In order to promote your event well in advance, please submit your announcement with full details and contact person if possible three weeks before the event. Announcements are put together at the weekend for broadcast three times a day in the following week, and generally run for two weeks on air.
